产品应用：A targeted insertion placed 2 kb 5' of the Igs1 (intergenic site, formerly Ubb) gene provides constitutive expression of a nuclear-localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of Cre-mediated recombination. Following Cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and a downstream open reading frame is expressed. When Cre-mediated recombination occurs in neurons, the amino terminal piece (tdTomato/TEVP, a 6xmyc epitope, a TEVP cleavage site) labels all axon and dendrites, and the carboxy-terminal portion (SV2B, GFP, 3xHA epitope) labels presynaptic structures. This reporter can be activated by cre recombinase in any cell in the body at any time in development.
