产品应用：DAT-Cre MCUfl mice, based on a compound mutant strain described in Zampese, 2022 (PMID:36179023), were generated through an intercross of mice carrying an allele of the mouse Mcu (mitochondrial calcium uniporter) gene in which exons 5 and 6 are flanked by loxP sites (Stock No. 029817) with DATIREScre animals that direct Cre recombinase expression to dopaminergic neurons without disrupting endogenous dopamine transporter expression (Slc6a3tm1.1(cre)Bkmn; Stock No. 006660). Cre-mediated excision of the floxed region results in a knock-out of Mcu in dopaminergic neurons, useful in studies of Parkinson's disease (PD).
